Hi! My name is Katie, and I’m so excited to be a counselor at Empower with Horsepower this year. I’ve loved horses my whole life and have been riding since I was eight years old.

I wanted to become a counselor because I loved going to this camp so much, and I want every camper to have an amazing experience just like I did. I enjoy helping others gain confidence and feel comfortable around horses.

My favorite things to do at camp are swimming, playing games, and going on trail rides with the horses. Beyond riding, I’m on my schools track and cross country team, am active in clubs like Model UN and HOSA, and I am an EMT.

I can’t wait to meet everyone this summer!
